Everything you need to know about the Novy Panorama
What is an induction hob with integrated extraction?
An induction hob with integrated extraction combines an induction hob and an extractor into one appliance. There's no need for a separate extractor hood, creating a cleaner kitchen design with uninterrupted sightlines and greater design freedom.
What makes the Novy Panorama different from other induction hobs with integrated extraction?
The Novy Panorama is the only induction hob with integrated extraction to feature a height-adjustable extraction tower. It captures cooking vapours directly at the source, even from cookware up to 30 cm high. Conventional systems without an extraction tower become less effective when using taller pots or pans, making the Novy Panorama the superior choice for demanding cooking.
Can the Novy Panorama be installed without external ducting?
Yes. The Novy Panorama is configured as standard for recirculation but can also be connected to an external ducting system. In recirculation mode, the carbon filter removes up to 97% of cooking odours and lasts for approximately 900 cooking hours, equivalent to around three to five years under normal use.
How high should the extraction tower be set?
The extraction tower can be positioned at 10, 20 or 30 cm, or adjusted freely to suit your cookware. For optimum extraction performance, we recommend setting it approximately 2–3 cm higher than your tallest pot or pan.
How do I control the Novy Panorama?
The Novy Panorama can be operated using the intuitive slider touch controls on the hob or via the Novy App on your smartphone. Both the hob and extraction system are controlled as one seamless appliance.
What sizes are available?
The Novy Panorama is available in 90 cm (1821,1831 and 1841 Series) and 120 cm (42110 and 42120 Series). Both are offered in gloss black glass, while the Matte Line finish is available as models 1821-G1 and 42120-G1.
How do I clean an induction hob with integrated extraction?
The grease filters can be removed easily and are dishwasher-safe. In recirculation mode, the carbon filter typically needs replacing every three to five years. A maintenance notification on the hob or in the Novy App lets you know when cleaning or replacement is required.
How much storage space is available beneath the Novy Panorama?
Despite the integrated extraction system, the installation depth remains remarkably compact. This allows drawers up to 40 cm deep to be fitted directly beneath the hob, so valuable storage space is retained in a standard kitchen layout.
What happens if liquid enters the extraction system?
No problem. The Novy Panorama features four integrated collection trays with a combined capacity of 750 ml. Two upper trays, each holding 125 ml, are positioned behind the grease filters, while two lower trays of 250 ml each collect larger quantities of liquid. All trays are easy to remove and dishwasher-safe.
